Effect of Berry Heterogeneity in Organic and Conventional Vineyards on Grape Berry Characteristics

In a two-part experiment, the first parcel is certified organic vineyard and, consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon cv. vines grafted onto 1103P rootstock. The second conventional vineyard, with 5BB Using Split-Plot Design based on stress levels, experiment set up three repetitions, two main plots representing Organic and Conventional each split into sub-plots. Predawn leaf water potential values were measured, below -0.8 MPa above grouped Dryland-Shallow Soil Bottomland-Deep Soil, respectively, soil type (six groups, namely Control, Stress 1, 2). Berry characteristics studied during harvest, berries classified four groups their diameter (10mm-12mm, 12mm-14mm, 14mm-16mm). results showed that 10mm-12mm berry size group had desired characteristics, produced smaller berries, 2 increased skin area area/berry volume values.
